Here we go again. We've come full circle and we are again preparing for our first auditions for the calendar. This year we hope to do a female fire fighters calendar. We'll see.

Good news folks; we have some great firefighters for the Calendar next year. We are in the process of rounding out the group and we will begin photographing for 2009!

For those who don't know already, we are having a video produced this year of the "Making of The Houston Firefighters Calendar". The video wil be ready just before the calendar so be looking for it!

Happy New Year to everyone and welcome back! For you HFD fire fighters, we are holding try-outs in February. The second and the third of February to be exact. Check with your Union newspaper and look for a circular from your chief soon for the exact time and place.

We did it again, we have a new site! If you know us, welcome back. If you are new to Chavez², welcome! Most of you are here for more calendar shots. Well they are here and now for sale. Get your very own print or poster mailed to you for a nominal fee.

We have just finished creating a poster for the Houston Fire Department in cooperation with Texas Childrens Hospital. The poster is to be used to increase awareness for victims of child abuse. We should have a copy posted here fairly soon. Look for the poster at schools and city buildings in the coming weeks.
We will keep posting news here, so keep checking back. We hope you enjoy the new Fire Fighter's photographs.
