RE the 2008 Firefighters Calendar: I don't usually get too excited about beefcake shots. But I was getting ready to leave for work and saw that the firefighters were going to appear on Debra Duncan this morning - which I would miss. So I got on the computer to see if I could find the calendar online as I think one of the shots was posted on TV as a teaser. I have a background in photography - and I must say, this series is SMOKING. I much prefer it to the 2007 - the b/2 really puts the focus on the men as art. It will take me a while to get over it. You really capture the maleness in those shots in a way that does not at all convey "gay" - but straight up "man" regardless of what their persuasion might be. I now know what I'm getting all my lady friends for XMAS - you must let me know when the new ones come out.
